Flooring
Flooring is a broad phrase that refers to a permanent floor covering or the labor involved in installing one. Any finish material put over a floor structure to produce a walking surface is referred to as floor covering.

Ground floor construction can be divided into three categories:
The floor is solid. A solid floor is often built with a hardcore basis and sand blinding, followed by a layer of concrete.
Suspended wooden floor.
Concrete floor that is suspended from the ceiling.
Ground contamination with radon.

Interior plywood is a good subfloor for carpeting, tiles, vinyl, engineered wood laminate flooring, and hardwood flooring in rooms that are not exposed to damp, such as bedrooms. Bathrooms, kitchens, and other rooms exposed to water and damp should use exterior plywood.
